Updated calendar

Footprints – Walking on Country program offers free foot screening and foot care via its mobile foot bus.
The Sunshine Coast Health foot disease prevention program focuses on the prevention and management of foot complications and their risk factors such as diabetes, and other chronic diseases.
Foot screening can detect:
- potential issues in blood flow,
- undiagnosed diabetes.
Screening also ensures timely referral to community or high-risk foot podiatrists.
There’s no need to book an appointment, the clinic operates on a walk-in basis.
GPs and community organisations can also refer patients to Footprints, at present by calling or emailing the program team.
The outreach program, operated by nurses specialising in diabetes and foot care, visits locations such as local shopping areas and community halls, making it quick and simple to get a diabetes check.
The service is designed to be accessible to all and provides culturally appropriate care for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities on the Sunshine Coast.
